ISU World Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 ISU World Figure Skating Championships have wrapped up in Saitama, Japan with a big win for Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara. In this lesson, we’re going to take a look at some of the interviews, see what was said and learn how to effectively use English.

Brandon Frazier Interview Transcript
- Could you just talk about what was it like to skate in front of Japanese spectators today? Um, you both got a standing ovation and um, there were a lot of flags from your nation. So, could you just talk about it?
Um, I think I can speak on behalf of Alexia and I when I say we absolutely love, um, performing in Japan. Whether it’s competing or shows, um, the crowd is awesome and, um, we felt so much love and support from them. And um, thank you again to the Japanese Skating Federation, um, for hosting such a great event.
