Learn Real English ｜ 2025 ISU World Team Trophy
The 2025 ISU World Team Trophy in Figure Skating in Tokyo, Japan saw the end of the skating season for Japanese favorites Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara.
In this lesson, we’re going to take a look at their performances from both days. We’ll see what was said by the commentators, Coach Burno Macotte, etc., learn some of the key vocabulary phrases, and how to use them.

Right! 73, 68… 80.99! That’s fantastic. That is a new personal best for… for Riku and Ryuichi. And rightly so. It was a magnificent performance. So they go shooting into the lead. That is a huge score. It will be a tough one to beat that.
